Each boat is initially produced at Humber Inflatable’s in Hull. Humber Inflatable’s have been manufacturing RIBs for over 50 years and have manufactured over 11000 RIBs to date. Humber RIB’s is still family run today.  The hull is hand laminated and finished to a high standard and to great strength at the old site which is alongside the River Hull. Andrew, the Managing Director of Humber Inflatable’s, personally overlooks every hull. The hull is then taken by road to the new site where it is taken to the tube shop. The tubes are normally made simultaneously to the hull by the same hands that have been making tubes on Humber RIBs for the last 20 years. The tubes are then joined to the hull with a special process and then made ready for Professional Boat Sales to collect. You may say its business as usual at Humber RIBs!

The next stage is where Professional Boat Sales jump in! Being users of RIBs on a daily basis they know what users are looking for in a RIB. They know which switch panels last the test of time. They know what Navigation lights are easy to replace when they get broken. They know about RIBs.

Deck ware is both provided by Humber or Dantech, and joined in place by Professional Boat Sales. Consoles and seats are bonded with sikaflex and secured to the deck with numerous stainless steel cross head screws. Although the RIB will now look complete this is where the work starts. Professional Boat Sales then start the rigging of the engine, fitting of the fuel system, joining of the hand made stainless fittings, and wiring of the instruments.
